  We recently moved here from Alaska and needed a real estate agent to help us find a home to rent. Our agent was Katerina Erhard, and from the get-go, she helped us every step of the way. We were emailing her a few months before we even arrived to Maryland, and a week before we got here she found us a list of houses and showed us about 20 homes that we could choose from. Once we finally made our decision, she wasted no time to get us in contact with the property managers to start the application process. The property managers on the other end twiddle their fingers and drug out the process, but Katerina was persistent in making sure everything went smoothly and sped up. We would come to her again for any renting or home buying needs, and recommend her to anyone interested in looking in the Maryland area. Thank you for a great experience!

• Review of "The Goddard School" at Gambrills

  We love the teachers and administration at The Goddard School in Gambrills! My son started there when he was 6 months old. He is now 4 years old and his baby sister is also at the school. I know that my children are in loving hands while I am at work. When issues arise, like my son being a biter, we work together and creatively to come up with solutions that worked for us and for the school. Both of my children are thriving physically and mentally. They love their teachers. I am so happy with our decision.

• Review of "The Roskelly Team" at Gambrills

  The Roskelly team deserves 5 STARS, however, if more stars were an option, they would get them too! We have known Laura Roskelly and daughter Jessica Hold since 2003 when they helped us sell our first home in Arnold, and purchase a new one. Things could not have gone smoother, so my husband and I knew that when the day came to move again, we would call them. That turned out to be fourteen years later. Both Laura and Jessica know the real estate business well, and their focus (as was a long time ago) is not just on the sale of a home, but it is also on taking care of the sellers to ensure any concerns we have are quickly taken care of. A big challenge for anyone working for me as I am a big worrier. :-) The recent sale of our home in Arnold was quick. Jessica came in and shared with us her thoughts on what needed to be done prior to listing. We listened, and it was not easy; however, she was 100% right. These changes and her staging improved our home so much we questioned "why move?" It really made a tremendous difference. By listening to their guidance, our home had many showings and sold quickly. With the selling of our home behind us, we are now working with the Roskelly's on the purchase of our dream home for retirement. We know both Jessica and Laura will walk hand-in-hand with us to the day we move in to our new home. For that, we are grateful.

• Review of "The Young School" at Gambrills

  My son is 22 months old and has been at the Young School since he was 7 months. His teachers are fantastic (many have 7+ years of experience), the administration is supportive, and the facilities are well-designed for the kids to explore. My son has learned so much from his teachers and his friends, who he has been with the whole time. Periodically there are teacher-in-service days, which kind of sucks because I have to take off work, and you don't expect that with a daycare. HOWEVER, I actually think this is a great idea. I love that the teachers get training every few months, which brings new ideas into the classroom and these certifications are a great benefit for the teachers, some of whom are working towards degrees. You can tell when you visit the Young School that the teachers are happy and love their jobs. They make the day fun for the kids, even as they are teaching them discipline. This daycare is the most expensive place we visited, but not by that much, and it is head and shoulders above the other places in quality. I am so grateful to be able to send my son to such a fantastic school. I nearly forgot to mention that over the summer the kids do water play 4 days per week! The kids love this, and it must be such a huge amount of work for the teachers to get the kids changed and everything, so I am so impressed that they do it so often. We love the Young School!
